2026 Keppoch Gravity Camp With Flavio Kodato Presented by Pete's Cyclery
Date: Saturday May 16- Sunday 17th, 2026, 10am to 5pm

Must be a cycling NS, NB or PEI member or purchase an OEM for $15?
Who: Athletes ages 12 to 17. Please note that this is a High Performance Camp and not a beginner or learn to ride camp and participants must be able to ride all black trails and features at Keppoch. If you have never ridden at keppoch you should be comfortable ridding steep, loose and rough terrain. Any drops located on the trails have b lines to navigate around them.

As this is a gravity based camp a full face helmet, back and chest protector, knee pads and elbow pads are strongly recommended. At a minimum long sleeve jersey or short sleeve with elbow pads, pants or shorts with knee pads, helmet and gloves shall be worn. Bikes must be in good machanical order, full suspension with disk brakes.
For parents or guardians wishing to ride the shuttle there is an option to pay for shuttle access on the registration page. The cost is $60 for the two days. Parent's or guardians ridding the shuttle will give priorty to the athletes when loading. Note: You need to do the registration seperatly from your participant.
For those who would like to stay there is un-serviced camping available onsite and booked through Keppoch.

Snowshoe at Night Hike at the Keppoch (WAITING LIST)

Bring your headlamps and join us for an EPPOCH night of hiking on the Keppoch trails! We'll take you through an evening of snowshoeing through the Game Changer and Shindig Hollow trails.
⏱️ Time: 7:00pm (meet at the lodge 15 minutes before the hike).

👉 Equipment: We have a limited amount of snowshoes and walking poles to rent.

This hike will take place on a relatively flat terrain, ~ 3km and will take an hour to complete. At the end, we'll enjoy some s'mores, hot chocolate/tea back at the lodge.

Sleds & S'mores
Bring the sleds, bring the fun, and bring your sweet tooth! Enjoy a day at the Keppoch with sledding and relaxing by the fire at our s'more station. All sled rentals will be FREE!
Winter Scavenger Hunt
A great family activity to get out on the Keppoch trails to explore! An exciting adventure packed with clues, challenges, and prizes at the lodge.
EAST SUMMIT GUIDED SNOWSHOE HIKE
Keppoch will be hosting a Guided Snowshoe Hike on the East Summit trail. This will be a relatively is a moderately challenging hike ~ 4.4 km (both ascending and descending) with an elevation climb of 135m. These group hikes are a great opportunity to meet others while overseeing the beautiful snow-covered evergreens and scenic trail views. We will have hot chocolate and coffee available to warm up by the fireplace at the lodge after the hike!

XC SKI MAINTENANCE & TIPS WORKSHOPS
The Keppoch is excited to be hosting a XC Ski Maintenance and Tips Workshop at the Keppoch Lodge with “That Ski Guy” Ike Whitehead.
Cross country skiing is an activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Ike will provide an informal session on how you can get involved, topics to be discussed are equipment selection, how to maintain your equipment, wax vs less wax, and clothing requirements. Whether you are new to cross-country skiing or need a refresher, this workshop is a great opportunity to ask questions and receive hands-on practice.
SESSION DETAILS:
Saturday:
10:30am - 12:00pm: Beginner's introduction to XC skiing and waxing clinic (no registration required)
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch break
1:00pm - 2:30pm: XC Ski tips and tricks on the trails (Registration is required. Fee is free for members; $11.40 for non-members).
Sunday:
10:30am - 12:00pm: Review of XC ski waxing and short ski tips on the trail (no registration required).
Equipment: Please bring your own XC ski equipment to the workshop. If you don't have any equipment, Keppoch has some to rent and will need to be booked in advance to ensure availability. Antigonish Town and County is another option to rent equipment.

KEPPOCH XC SKI DAY
All XC ski rentals and trail passes will be 50% off. Chili lunch (chili and a bun) for $5.00 will be served from 12-2 or until sold out.

"DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN" AT THE KEPPOCH
Join us at the Keppoch for a party event that is all about the snowman! We will have many activities set up such as outdoor snowman building, crafts and cookies to decorate!
KEPPOCH WINTER BIRDHOUSE CRAFT WEEKEND
Join us for a fun and creative craft weekend! Bring your imagination and turn a simple birdhouse into a masterpiece. All supplies provided. Participants can also bring their own outdoor accents to add. Perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves art and nature!
